The Back Story

Business Resource Group (BRG), Inc. Tennessee based firm that was founded as a for-profit, small, minority female owned business management development consulting firm over 20 years ago.  Its primary focus was on growth and development, training of small, minority/women owned firms, but over the years the company has expanded its focus to include, program and Project Management, contract compliance, monitoring, program review/auditing, reporting, and data collection.  The BRG of today has expanded its base and now includes a consortium of subcontractors that make up its affiliate group, The Collective.  BRG, LLC, along with The Collective represents a combined level of experience totally well over 50 years of expertise working in various industries and sectors.  Business Resource Group, LLC is a fully staffed firm including Carol L. Greenlee, President/Senior Consultant, The Collective, IT Consultant, Website and Clerical Support.

Prior to becoming the Principal of BRG, Greenlee created an unprecedented number of successful initiatives that lead to more than a 300% increase in minority business ventures and contracts.  Greenlee’s professional accomplishments prior to the BRG’s creation includes the founding of the Uniform Certification Agency, which included the Memphis/Shelby County Airport Authority, Memphis Transit Authority, Shelby County Government, Memphis City Schools, Memphis City Government, and Memphis Light Gas and Water. Established the Business Partnering Program, founded the Executive Management Institute at Christian Brothers University, and produced the largest minority trade show of its kind in the Mid-South.
